Hotarubi
Cicadas, distant bells, a bamboo water feature, and a passing breeze. Sounds unfold in different cycles, evoking a garden in a single, layered soundscape.
Like fragrance or soft lighting, Hotarubi is art created for a space. It is composed entirely of carefully edited human voices, without electronic tones.
Awake, yet gently dreaming.
The sound is designed to gently engage the central nervous system. Experimental findings have suggested reduced brain workload and gentle effects on deeper brain regions.
Drawing on observations of brainwave patterns resembling REM sleep, the design aims to invite deep, dreamlike relaxation while you remain awake.
As sounds emerge and fade, take a moment away from daily demands. A space to reconnect with yourself, at your own pace.
